Mirziyoyev instructs to create jobs

119 trillion soums will be allocated on the President’s instructions to implement large and medium-scale projects in Tashkent Region.

On March 18, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Eshonobod mahalla during his working visit to Chinaz district in Tashkent Region to see the living conditions of local people. He highlighted the need to implement a number of large and medium-scale projects to improve the well-being and create jobs for local people. The leader of Uzbekistan allocated 119 trillion soums to ensure the fulfilment of these tasks in Tashkent Region, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

“The purpose of my visit is to create modern conditions in Tashkent Region. 150,000 people out of 3 million are unemployed. Therefore, we need to find growth points in all mahallas, appoint those responsible for activating these points, allocate funds and create jobs for local people. It necessary to improve drinking water and electricity distribution, roads and education,” the leader of Uzbekistan said.

There are a branch of the state services centre, palace of culture, bank branch, first-aid post and sewing workshop in the mahalla, where more than 3,000 people live. Residential buildings, schools, roads and utility lines have been repaired.

Mirziyoyev visited the Kuzhakent Textile Group enterprise, where 500 women work in two shifts. Through hard work over the past month and a half, the staff exported ready-made garments worth US$ 100,000.

The President instructed the high-ranking officials to assist the industrialists in allocating buildings and funds and creating jobs for 3,000 women.
