Bishkek and Tashkent to build pharmaceutical plant

The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan expressed readiness to implement all the agreements reached by the leaders of the two states.

On March 12, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov had a meeting with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov during his state visit to Uzbekistan. The parties expressed satisfaction with the progress in bilateral interaction based on good neighbourly and friendly relations, the press office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The leader of the Kyrgyz Republic positively evaluated the rapid development of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical industry and proposed the creation of a joint venture that would produce medicines, medical equipment and personal protective equipment in Kyrgyzstan.

Aripov underscored the importance and fruitfulness of the meeting between the leaders of the two states, which had given a new impetus to bilateral relations and enhanced bilateral cooperation.

As was reported, Japarov had a meeting with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The leaders of the two states agreed to intensify talks on the delimitation of the border and establish an investment fund.
