Global investors’ interest in Kazakhstan growing

Kaspi.kz held its public offering on the London Stock Exchange.

On February 26, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev had a meeting with the top managers of the innovative company Kaspi.kz Vyacheslav Kim and Mikhail Lomtadze. They reported to the leader of Kazakhstan on the large-scale activities and international achievements of the company, the press office of Akorda reported to CentralAsia.news.

Noting that global investors’ interest in Kazakhstan was growing, the businessmen informed the leader of Kazakhstan that Kaspi.kz had held its public offering on the London Stock Exchange.

The leader of Kazakhstan and the businessmen discussed the tasks of increasing non-cash payments volumes and expanding their application. They also focused on the joint implementation of the state digital projects.

The parties agreed on the promising technological fields of cooperation between the government agencies and Kaspi.kz, including the accelerated promotion of non-cash payment methods throughout Kazakhstan.

In 2020, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and Kaspi.kz launched a new service through the mobile app, which includes a number of advanced technical solutions. Kaspi.kz is the most secure electronic resource among the financial institutions in the country.
