Three large-scale projects to be constructed in Uzbekistan

South Korean company Hanshin Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. designs the construction of residential complexes, an institute, and a golf course.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Korea Vitaly Fen held a meeting with the head of the company Hanshin Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. Choi Young Son. They discussed three major projects related to the construction of Kokand City, a general design institute, and a golf course. It was reported by the dunyo publishing house, which was founded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the conversation, Young Son sincerely thanked Shavkat Mirziyoyev for supporting the initiatives of Korean companies aimed at long-term cooperation. The director said that the group, created to establish investment bilateral relations, is actively continuing its activities.

The head of the South Korean company informed the interlocutor that his company is fully focused on the implementation of the important project Kokand City. This investment project, which includes the construction of modern multi-story buildings, is planned to be built in Kokand.

Besides, the sides discussed the creation of a modern international golf complex worth 800 million dollars in Samarkand. It is planned to allocate an area of 270 hectares for the implementation of this investment project. According to the plan, the complex will include a modern golf course, living quarters for guests, international schools, a shopping and entertainment center, and multi-story residential buildings.

The issue of creating a design institute in the country on the basis of Kishlokkurilishloyiha LLC, Toshuizhoiliti JSC, and Uzogirsanoatloyiha JSC is considered together with the Ministry of Construction of Uzbekistan. It should become a unique institute in the CIS.

These projects are planned to be realized through direct investments. The head of the company said that a delegation led by Executive Director Choi Moon Gyu will arrive in Uzbekistan in mid-February to continue negotiations with the republic.
