As was reported, no new coronavirus cases had been reported in Tajikistan since January 11. The number of infected citizens in the country totalled 13,308; 90 people were reported to die.

On January 26, President Emomali Rahmon announced the victory over coronavirus infection, but the famous Russian doctor Alexander Myasnikov criticised this statement.
