434 citizens of Tajikistan will be sent to Russia. This has been agreed with the RF Cabinet of Ministers.
The Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan will send 434 labour migrants to Irkutsk where they will be involved in building projects. This has been agreed with the Government of the Russian Federation, the press office of the Ministry reported on January 23.
These citizens have secured jobs with the construction companies: Promstroymash LLC, Sibstalstroy LLC and SMPK-7 LLC. The first group of migrants will arrive in Russia early next week.
The agreement was signed as part of the recruitment plan to hire Tajik workers in accordance with the order of Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova and the COVID-19 Task Force of the Russian Federation.
The companies in the Russian Federation will cover all costs associated with the flight, 14-day quarantine, paperwork, accommodation and meals.
On January 22, Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin said that a mechanism for entry of migrant construction workers from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkey had been set up.
