President of Kazakhstan congratulates new President of Kyrgyzstan on election victory

Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude to the leader of Kazakhstan and the people of the neighbouring state for their continued support to his country.

On January 11, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev sent congratulations to new President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov on his win in the presidential election. The leaders of the two countries had a telephone conversation, the press office of Akorda reports.

The leader of Kazakhstan noted that the results of the election illustrated the strong public support to Zhaparov’s development policy aimed at strengthening integrity and boosting social and economic growth of the Kyrgyz Republic. Tokayev assured his interlocutor that he was committed to promoting long-term partnerships with brotherly Kyrgyzstan based on friendship and good-neighbourly relations.

Sadyr Zhaparov expressed heartfelt gratitude to the leader of Kazakhstan and the people of the neighbouring state for their faith in Kyrgyzstan and their support for Kyrgyzstan’s aspirations for political stability, growth and prosperity. The politicians focused on their readiness to work together in mutually advantageous areas and on the platforms of international organisations.

Confirming his intention to foster constructive relationships with the neighbouring state, the leader of Kazakhstan invited Sadyr Japarov to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan. Zhaparov accepted the invitation, noting that he would pay his first ever official visit to Kazakhstan.
