Kyrgyzstan to hold most honest presidential election ever

According to Mamytkanov, a hotline will operate at the CEC for two days. It will receive calls with violation reports.

On January 7, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Mamytkanov chaired a meeting of the republican headquarters on assisting election commissions in organizing early presidential elections and referendum, scheduled for January 10 of this year. The government is confident that the election will be the most transparent and honest in the history of the country, as reported by the press office of the Kyrgyz government.

According to Mamytkanov, a hotline will operate in the government from January 9 to 10. Citizens will be able to call it to report on the problems with electricity, the Internet, non-observance of the mask regime and established sanitary standards by members of election commissions and observers.

Besides, the head of the CEC Nurzhan Shildabekova provided information on preparations for the election.

It was noted that all sanitary and epidemiological regulations for combating the COVID-19 will be observed at the polling stations to protect public health.

Mamytkanov marked that the heads of state bodies are personally responsible for organizing early presidential elections.
