Kyrgyzstan expects second wave of coronavirus in November

According to Boronov, the mass spread of infection may start in September because people are dismissive of their health.

On September 3, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov chaired a meeting of the republican headquarters. He noted that the citizens are dismissive of their health, and that could cause a mass spread of COVID-19 at the end of this month. It was reported to CentralAsia.news by the press office of the Kyrgyz government.

According to the prime minister, the owners of restaurants and cafes are very irresponsible in this direction. They arrange various celebrations and commemorations with a lot of guests without permission.

In this regard, the head of the government requested the cabinet to toughen the punishment for restaurants and cafes, since 3000 soms of fine don’t help anymore.

Moreover, Boronov recommended that officials avoid crowded places, especially public transport, and stop large concentrations of people.

The Prime Minister also pointed out that regions have to present daily updates on the work within instructions of the republican operational headquarters.
