Berdimuhamedov marked that it is necessary to digitize engineering networks, buildings and land.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgeldi Ovezov to create a 3D model of Ashgabat. The directives were given at a government meeting dedicated to the work of the Cabinet over the past 7 months. It was reported by the «Turkmenistan Today» news agency on August 18.
Berdimuhamedov highlighted that it is important to digitize engineering networks, buildings and land. According to him, the process will make it possible to more effectively check the workload of engineering and communication systems, as well as simulate future construction work.
The president stressed that within the reforms, it will be possible to create a digital base of free land. The three-dimensional model of the city will allow identifying the misuse of the corresponding territories and will become the foundation for «smart» cities.
Berdimuhamedov noted that the digitalization process will affect all spheres of the state. The process will be implemented as part of the concept for the development of the digital economy until 2025, he added.
It must be added that earlier Yuri Aronsky, Ph.D. in Economics, said that today it is important to introduce digital technologies in all areas of life along with the extraction and processing of natural resources. According to him, Berdimuhamedov understands it and carries out an effective policy in this direction.
