On November 19-21, a Turkmen delegation headed by Head of Mary Region administration Begenchmurad Orazov paid a working visit to the province of Herat of Afghanistan. The parties discussed the current level and prospects for cooperation between the two countries, the press office of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan reported.
The Turkmen delegates held talks with the heads of administration in the provinces of Nuristan and Badghis and the government agencies of the friendly country. The Afghan side expressed gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the ongoing assistance and comprehensive support.
The representatives of Turkmenistan visited the Industrial City in the province of Herat to learn about the activities of large enterprises. The members of the delegation visited ancient historical and cultural monuments.
