Nurtleu meets with Croatian Prime Minister in Zagreb

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu met with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković during his official visit to Croatia. They continued discussing the issues raised at talks between the leaders of the two countries at COP29 in Baku. The main issue was the efforts to enhance political dialogue and expand economic relations.

«Murat Nurtleu invited Croatian companies to establish and promote trade and investment partnerships with Kazakhstan,» the press office noted.

The Kazakh side informed about ongoing political, social and economic reforms in the country that create an enabling business environment. The key sectors for cooperation include energy, transport, agriculture, IT, education and tourism.

Plenković said Croatia is ready to deepen partnerships between Astana and Zagreb, based on mutual trust and support. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue constructive interaction and arrange new high-level visits.
