Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu paid a historic visit to Croatia at the invitation of Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlic-Radman. The meeting served as an important step to strengthen relations between the two countries, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported.
«We highly value our substantial political dialogue at all levels, based on friendship and mutual trust. Economic cooperation is a key area of Kazakh-Croatian relations,» Murat Nurtleu said.
The interlocutors discussed expanding trade and economic ties, investment and cultural cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for cooperation in energy, transport, agriculture, digital technology, education and tourism.
They discussed international challenges and bilateral interaction within the UN and OSCE. The visit resulted in the signing of a 2025-2027 cooperation programme and a memorandum between the diplomatic academies of the two countries.
