Kyrgyzstan plans to build a large pharmaceutical production cluster. The Life Sciences Park project was discussed at a meeting of Minister of Health of the Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev with a delegation of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the press office of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the Minister, the project will open up new prospects to develop Kyrgyzstan’s health and pharmaceutical industries, strengthen international cooperation and significantly improve the quality of healthcare in Kyrgyzstan and abroad.
The project will be implemented in two stages. The first stage entails developing infrastructure and launching production of basic medical products. High-tech production of hormonal drugs, vaccines and antitumor agents that will be exported to the CIS and Central Asian countries will be launched at the second stage.
