Yagshygeldy Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and Malaysian Petronas Carigali signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
The document was signed on the sidelines of the «Prospects of Innovative Technologies in Chemistry and Gas Chemistry» International Science and Practical Conference, which took place at the University. The memorandum envisages joint research and implementation of projects in the field of hydrocarbon and renewable energy, fossil fuel exploration, chemical production, digital transformation and ecology. The parties will jointly publish research findings of professors, lecturers, specialists and young scientists in international scientific journals.
The Turkmen university and Petronas Carigali have been fruitfully cooperating for several years. Specialists from the Petronas University of Technology regularly conducts training courses and seminars for students from the International University of Oil and Gas on the application of innovative technologies and digital systems in the oil and gas sector.
