Kyrgyzstan set to rank among top 30 developed countries

Speaking at a meeting of Zhogorku Kenesh, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov announced a strategic vision for Kyrgyzstan’s development, based on evaluations by President Sadyr Japarov. The leader of the country believes that Kyrgyzstan is capable of ranking among the top 30 developed countries in the world, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported. 

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted significant positive changes in the Republic’s development. The key achievements are the rehabilitation of an effective public administration system and the cleansing of state institutions from elements that hindered Kyrgyzstan’s development by embezzling national riches.

Particular attention was paid to the economic achievements during the presidency of Sadyr Japarov. The country has made significant progress for 4 years of his leadership: the consolidated budget has risen significantly, and the national economy has doubled in size.
