Bishkek will host the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). The leaders of the five member states of this organisation and the observer countries, including Turkmenistan and Hungary, will take part in the event, the IIC portal reported.
The theme of the Summit is «Strengthening the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future and Security for All». The participants will discuss enhancing cooperation among the OTS Member States, promoting economic interaction, transitioning to digital technologies and strengthening regional security.
The major event of the Summit is the transfer of the OTS Chairmanship 2025 from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. This step illustrates dynamic cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States.
