On October 18, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the Member States of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) on the opening of the II Theatre Festival. Ashgabat is hosting the event, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
«We pay special attention to strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and TURKSOY. International events of the International Organization in the Turkic-speaking states contribute to enhancing friendly and fraternal relations among nations. The active participation of Turkmen poets and prose writers, baghshis, musicians and artists in contests, festivals, exhibitions and concerts under the auspices of TURKSOY further raises the authority of Turkmenistan worldwide,» the President said.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov added that Turkmenistan will continue to work towards fostering a cultural dialogue with this international organisation. The President wished the participants of the cultural event good health, family well-being and every success in their creative activity.
