The 21st meeting of the Kazakhstan-China Coordinating Committee on Cooperation in Industrialisation and Investment took place in Astana. According to the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov and Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China Zhao Chenxin co-chaired the meeting.
The participants discussed the work done since the 20th meeting, as well as the progress of the implementation of the priority projects. They considered the proposals to change the list of priority projects and industrialisation for 2025.
Kuantyrov noted that Kazakh-Chinese relations have reached a new level, as illustrated by the recent mutual visits of the two leaders.
«The Industrial and Investment Cooperation Dialogue Mechanism, initiated 10 years ago, continues to play a special role at the new stage of the „Golden 30th anniversary“ of Kazakh-Chinese relations,» the Deputy Minister said.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working towards optimising cooperation and improving the quality of investment projects.
