Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia Armen Gevondyan. The meeting focused on the promising areas of bilateral cooperation in health care, the press office of the Ministry of Health reported.
The parties agreed to bolster interaction between the two countries and develop a Roadmap for 2025-2026. They discussed improving primary health care (PHC), using IT in the health sector, providing highly specialised medical care to Armenian citizens in Kazakhstan and exchanging experiences in cardiology, neurosurgery and other specialisations.
«Akmaral Alnazarova invited the Armenian counterparts to join the Alliance of Countries for Primary Health Care and visit medical research and education organisations in Kazakhstan,» the press office added.
Ambassador Gevondyan expressed readiness for fruitful cooperation and made a presentation on the health care system in his country.
