President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov arrived in Paris for an official visit at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron. The Kyrgyz leader will attend the Opening Ceremony of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games during the visit, which is scheduled for July 25-27, the press office of the President of the Republic reported.
Japarov will attend the Sport for Sustainable Development: Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together For a Better Future Summit in Paris.
The President will present Kyrgyzstan’s initiatives for supporting healthy development of children and future athletes at the forum.
The Summer Olympic Games will run for 2 weeks, from July 26 to August 11 in France. In total, about 10,000 athletes from 206 countries, including 16 athles from Kyrgyzstan, will take part in the world-class competition across 329 medal events.
