Tajikistan to establish Association of Cosmetologists

The authorities of Tajikistan are going to establish the Association of Cosmetologists that will be the main platform to address current issues in cosmetology. A meeting with Minister of Health Jamoliddin Abdullozoda focused on medical services provided by the private cosmetology centres in the country, the press office of the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan reported.

The Association will help cosmetologists and medical experts develop the industry, adopt modern techniques and improve the quality of services. The participants highlighted the need to introduce certification requirements and conduct first aid training for employees of cosmetology centres.

Jamoliddin Abdullozoda gave specific instructions on improving the quality of services, solving current problems and ensuring compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

Currently, 17 cosmetology centres operate in Tajikistan, of which 11 centres are located in Dushanbe and 6 centres in Khujand.
