On June 28, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a message to Arkadag City residents. The President congratulated them on the first anniversary of the city, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
«Arkadag City, built at the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains, is a smart city based on innovative technologies, a digital system and advanced information and communication technologies. Special importance in the city is attached to environmental well-being and man-nature relationship,» Berdimuhamedov emphasised.
The President emphasised that the new city ensures a high level of social and living conditions, work and leisure systems. It has more comfortable residential buildings, branches of ministries, industry departments, banks and other buildings, an extensive road infrastructure that meets international standards. Wide avenues and streets are equipped with modern lighting, video surveillance and control systems. Electric buses and taxis, smart parking lots and information and communication technologies offer high-quality and cultural service to city residents.
‘I am confident that the large-scale celebration of the anniversary of Arkadag City will further strengthen our unity and cohesion in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state and raise pride in the impressive achievements,» Serdar Berdimuhamedov said.
