On June 22, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reviewed the project of an art carpet manufacturing plant, which will be built in the vicinity of the smart city, during his working trip to Arkadag City, Turkmenistan: Golden Age eNewspaper reported.
Chairman of the State Committee for Arkadag City Construction under the President of Turkmenistan Deryageldy Orazov presented a model of the new facility to the National Leader of the Turkmen people for review. He reported on the start date of the construction project and building materials which will be used.
The decision to build a carpet manufacturing plant in Arkadag was made due to multiple requests from residents of the smart city. The industrial facility will comprise several workshops, including those that will manufacture non-standard extra-large carpets, recreation rooms for carpet makers and warehouses for working tools and materials.
After reviewing the project, Hero-Arkadag emphasised the feasibility of creating an interactive device that would tell users about the history and distinctive features of Turkmen carpet weaving. He emphasised the importance of installing special equipment in the workshops that will filter dust and wool particles in the work environment, maintain and improve air quality.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people reviewed the project of a new park during his working trip to Arkadag City. The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty made several changes, proposing to install Ahalteke horse statues in the park.
Hero-Arkadag highlighted the importance of applying innovative international practices and ensuring compliance of construction work in the smart city with environmental standards.
