The decree says that the funds for the repair, security and purchase of household items and supplies required by state educational institutions should be allocated from the state budget.

Teachers and school staff are instructed to stop the practice of collecting money from parents to meet the needs of schools.

A hotline for illegal money collection will be set up.

The responsibility for violations of the order is provided. In case of revealing any facts of illegal collection of money or moral and psychological pressure exerted on schoolchildren and parents, disciplinary measures will be applied to the perpetrators.

The President gave the Cabinet of Ministers 3 months to implement the order.

It is noted that compulsory contributions from parents of schoolchildren «for the needs of the school» are a heavy burden on the family budget.
