Tajik leaders open military vehicle assembly plant

On May 24, an enterprise of Sipar Gurukh LLC was put into operation during the working visit of President Emomali Rahmon to Tursunzade. Head of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali took part in the opening ceremony as well. The enterprise will manufacture and assemble special military and civilian vehicles, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reports.

In total, the plant in Tursunzade manufactures 17 types of vehicles and has an annual capacity of 120 vehicles. In the coming years, these figures will grow to meet the demand. As reported, some parts for military and civilian vehicles are delivered from the United Arab Emirates.

The enterprise will provide jobs and decent wages to 100 residents of Tursunzade.

It is planned that local employees will undergo short-term training courses on the manufacturing and assembly of this type of vehicles at the renowned automotive companies in developed countries.

The leaders of the country were informed about the manufacturing process and technical inspection of the first vehicles made at the plant.
