President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali opened the Global School private school in Firdavsi district of the capital of the Republic. The educational institution was built by Global Leasing LLC to support the Tajik leader’s education policy, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The five-storey school building occupies an area of 27 hectares (2,700 square metres). A kindergarten is located on the ground floor. The educational institution is designed for 560 children and 23 teachers.
The educational institution houses 28 classrooms, 6 study rooms, a meeting room, a canteen, a library, a reading room, a gym and a summer sports ground. Schoolchildren will be taught in foreign languages, including Russian and English. The school will provide in-depth training in physics, chemistry, biology and information technology.
The kindergarten is designed for 60 children. It has 6 modern classrooms and a bedroom.
Those speaking at the opening ceremony noted that the educational institution was built to mark the 35th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
