Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Japarov congratulated the beautiful half of citizens of the country on International Women’s Day. Noting their important role in the country’s development, he emphasised that the authorities would take drastic measures to increase women’s participation in public administration, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported to CentralAsia.news.
Emphasising that the state will make every effort to promote and support female leaders, Japarov said a number of measures will be implemented in the political sphere.
The President added that today women of Kyrgyzstan work at enterprises, protect borders, create artworks and raise the authority of Kyrgyzstan in the international sports arena.
As was reported, in her speech at the First International Congress of Influential Women in Science and Culture, the First Lady of Kyrgyzstan Aigul Japarova said Kyrgyzstan has a comprehensive legislation on gender equality in terms of women’s political participation.
