Turkmenistan expands international ties in restoration of archaeological finds

In Ashgabat, a briefing on the restoration of archaeological finds and monuments in Turkmenistan, in particular on the use of international experience in the corresponding direction, took place. The event was held by the State Museum of the State Cultural Center. It was reported to CentralAsia.news by the press office of the MFA of Turkmenistan.

The scientists noted that the Central Asian state expanded international cooperation in the framework of the preservation of the Turkmen historical and cultural heritage. In the country special attention is also paid to the study, registration and popularization of the finds, they emphasized.

The participants of the briefing added that in order to preserve the heritage of the ancestors of the Turkmen people the state invites foreign specialists. Thanks to the progressive policy of the president Serdar Berdimuhamedov, scientific research is expanding, experts said. 

The event was attended by employees of ministries, the Academy of Sciences, embassies of the USA, the People’s Republic of China, India, local museums, as well as teachers and students of higher educational institutions.
