Work done by People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan reviewed in Dushanbe

The Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) held a meeting in Dushanbe. The participants reviewed the work done by the city divisions in 2022 and set the tasks for the first six months of 2023, the press office of the Dushanbe Mayor Office reported to CentralAsia.news.

In 2022, the PDPT members from Dushanbe took specific measures to ensure the sustainable and consistent development of the country, including the decent standard and quality of life of citizens.

The PDPT divisions held 12,420 meetings in the capital of Tajikistan on the implementation of the message of President Emomali Rahmon and the prevention of extremism among the younger generation. Food assistance was provided to low-income families. A party pension of 500 somoni (about $49) was paid to people with disabilities on a monthly basis.

Particular attention was paid to implementing gender policy, preventing domestic violence, strengthening the foundations of the family and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
