Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan inspects Bishkek thermal power plant

Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev inspected the Bishkek thermal power plant. He was informed that the plant is working normally, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported to CentralAsia.news.

General Director of the Electric Stations Open Joint-Stock Company Osmon Kachkynbaev reported on the current condition of the thermal power plant. He said the thermal power plant consumes up to 6,500 tonnes of coal daily, though 7,000 tonnes are supplied. 100,444 tonnes have been stored.

Torobaev emphasised the need to control coal supplies and gave specific instructions to the Ministry of Energy. Particular attention was paid to the importance of monitoring the selling price to the consumers.

On that day, the Deputy Prime Minister held a meeting on the operation of the Chui Electric Networks Enterprise. He noted that all energy facilities must be prepared for future frosts.
