President of Tajikistan Emomali Ramon held a government meeting in Dushanbe. Speaking at the meeting, the President ordered that immediate actions in the national economy be taken, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The authorities were instructed to find new ways to implement the tax plan and the state budget for 2023, create more jobs and involve the local population in gold panning. Rahmon noted that more than 7,000 citizens of Tajikistan have received gold panning permits.
The President highlighted the need to efficiently and purposefully spend budget funds. He emphasised the importance of bringing up patriotic youth, protecting citizens from emergencies, promoting the tourism sector, ensuring sustainable economic and social development and supplying electricity and heat during the winter months.
The members of the Cabinet of Ministers discussed the work plan for January-July of 2023.
