Ambassador of Russia highlights importance of Dushanbe-Moscow partnerships in education

Ambassador of the Russian Federation Semyon Grigoriev and Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan Rakhimjon Saidzoda held talks in Dushanbe. The interlocutors discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the education sector, the press office of the Embassy reported to CentralAsia.news.

The Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Tajikistan highlighted the priority of interaction in the education sector in the context of bilateral cooperation, noting that the initiatives of President Emomali Rahmon and President Vladimir Putin are being implemented very effectively.

Saidzoda highly evaluated the outcomes of Tajikistan-Russia partnerships within bilateral cooperation in education and science. He thanked the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation for the decision to increase the quotas for Tajik citizens in higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation next year.

The heads of the Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University and the branches of the major Russian universities in the capital of Tajikistan attended the meeting.
