On December 20, a regular meeting of the National Coordination Committee to Combat HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Republic of Tajikistan chaired by Chairperson Matlubakhon Sattorien took place. The participants focused on the distribution of funds allocated by the Global Fund for the prevention and control of HIV and tuberculosis in 2024-2026, the press office of the Ministry of Health reported to CentralAsia.news.
The members of the Committee for Television and Radio under the Government of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Education reported on the progress of the implementation of the National Tuberculosis Control Programme of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021–2025, a member of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports reported on the progress of the implementation of the National Programme to Combat the HIV and AIDS Epidemic in the Republic of Tajikistan in 2021-2025 and presented the draft work plans of the Committee and the Control Commission under the Committee for the next year.
Following the meeting, the participants adopted the decisions.
