The interlocutors focused on promoting bilateral mutually beneficial relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, among others. The officials also discussed the progress of the implementation of the action plan to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
The conversation took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The interlocutors exchanged views on key aspects of bilateral cooperation within the international organisations, including SCO and CSTO.
Earlier, Ambassador of Tajikistan Davlatshokh Gulmakhmadzoda met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The interlocutors reviewed the results of joint work within the CIS regional organisations in the current year and discussed regional security issues.
