Enterprises sold at low cost to be returned in Kazakhstan

On November 24, Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov chaired a regular working meeting of the Commission on Demonopolization of Economy under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the press office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The heads of relevant government agencies discussed the return of the financial institution to the republican balance that had been transferred from the quasi-public sector to a competitive environment at a noticeably lower cost. It was noted that an investigation on this case has been initiated.

The participants discussed the antimonopoly measures towards a number of companies that produce industrial goods for the agricultural sector and innovative systems in the health sector.

The Prime Minister instructed the Prosecutor General’s Office to conduct inspections and identify the valid reason for the privatization of the energy facilities in the country.
