On November 14, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Mukhriddin met with Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan Toshihiro Aiki. The diplomats discussed in detail the prospects for promoting bilateral cooperation in promising areas, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The interlocutors reviewed the current situation and existing prospects for deepening mutually beneficial partnerships, including Tajikistan-Japan cooperation within international organisations. The politicians agreed to make every effort to strengthen relations in various areas of mutual interest.
Following the bilateral talks, the parties took part in the signing ceremony of Exchange Notes between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Japan on a Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship under the Japan’s Official Development Assistance.
