Smailov ordered to hasten removal of excessive requirements for business

On November 4, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov held a special meeting to address the problem areas of national business and develop constructive measures to remove unnecessary requirements for business entities, the press office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported to CentralAsia.news.

Alikhan Smailov emphasised the urgency of speeding up the analysis of regulatory acts to identify unreasonable requirements. He instructed that the analysis be completed by the end of the year. “All legislative changes must be made promptly,” the Prime Minister said.

“We must work faster. We need to get rid of the provisions confirmed by Atameken NCE. Remove these provisions from orders and resolutions, do not wait until the analysis is completed. As soon as excessive requirements are identified, they must be immediately removed so that they cease to function,” the Prime Minister noted.

The Chairman of the Government noted that government agencies are working to create a favourable business environment in the country. “Entrepreneurs should have a free field to launch projects, create more jobs and contribute to the growth of incomes of the population,” the Prime Minister stressed.
