The capital of Uzbekistan will host the All-Republic Cross-Industry Trade Fair on November 14-18, the press office of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan reports.
First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Nozim Kholmurodov held a meeting via videoconference on preparatory work for the upcoming event and the development of the internal market programme for the next two years at the Ministry.
When discussing preparatory work for the trade fair, the participants noted that advanced technologies and innovative approaches to staging such events would be used. The trade fair is expected to result in the signing of new contracts for the supply of a wide range of consumer goods.
It was reported that over the past year, cross-industry trade fairs were held in 13 regions of Uzbekistan, which resulted in the signing over 7,700 product supply contracts worth 4.4 trillion soums.
