On October 25, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov received the members of the US-Kyrgyzstan Business Council with whom he discussed measures to further foster a trade dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and the United States, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.
Japarov noted that he invited American businessmen to pay a study visit to Kyrgyzstan during his working trip to the United States in April this year.
He expressed hope that a study visit will give American companies the opportunity to study more thoroughly the trade and investment potential of Kyrgyzstan and establish mutually beneficial contacts with Kyrgyz business circles.
“The Kyrgyz Republic is always open for investment. The Cabinet of Ministers is working towards creating the most conducive business environment. The liberal legal framework ensures the protection of the rights of foreign investors,” the Prime Minister noted.
The members of the US-Kyrgyzstan Business Council emphasised that the American side is ready to support initiatives of building up trade and economic relations between the two countries.
