On October 21, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received Ambassador of Qatar Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Abdullah who was completing his diplomatic mission in Tajikistan, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reports.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Qatar for his contribution to strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Dushanbe and Doha. Mukhriddin wished the diplomat every success in his future work.
The officials discussed the prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in various fields. They also noted the importance of the outcomes of the Dushanbe Security Conference, which was held in the capital of Tajikistan on October 18-19.
As was reported, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution of Qatar Majed Al Qahtani on the sidelines of the international conference.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic, trade, investment, social and cultural spheres.
