Speaking at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agricultural sector, reported on preparatory work for the events marking the Turkmen Alabay Day, celebrated on the last Sunday of October, the Turkmenistan Today News Agency reported.
The Deputy Prime Minister informed that the festive events include the second round and final of the international competition Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabay and an exhibition.
“The state policy priorities include the preservation and worldwide popularisation of the national historical and cultural heritage. The key aspects of ongoing work are the support for selective breeding of Turkmen Alabays and the increase in the number of this unique breed,” the President noted, commenting on the report.
The Turkmen leader instructed Yazmyradov to organise the upcoming celebrations at a high and strictly monitor preparatory work.
