The countries have every opportunity to increase trade in this sector up to $1 billion, and transport corridors are being actively explored for this purpose, the Chairman of the Government said.

Focusing on transport and logistics, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan initiated the consolidation of efforts in removing infrastructure barriers, expanding rail freight transportation and facilitating the trans-loading of goods in border areas. In this regard, Smailov urged to elaborate measures for joint investment in the construction of new seaport terminals in Kazakhstan and Iran.
