Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali issued the Resolution approving the preparatory plan for the autumn draft of citizens born in 1995-2004 who will be summoned for military service in 2022, the Khovar National News Agency reports.
In accordance with the Resolution, male citizens who have reached the age of 18 by the day of conscription campaign, as well as citizens of Tajikistan over 18 years old who are not entitled to delays or exemptions from military service shall be enrolled in the armed forces in October-November 2022.
The Resolution sets forth that military commissars in Dushanbe and the city districts are to report weekly on the progress of conscription campaign and, by December 5, submit a final report on the results of conscription campaign.
The internal affairs bodies of Dushanbe were instructed to provide comprehensive assistance to the district military commissariats in ensuring the attendance of conscripts at recruiting stations.
On September 3, the Decree of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the temporary exemption of service members who have completed a period of mandatory military service and the next call for military service of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan born in 1995-2004 was approved.
