The Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2022 Forum will take place in Ashgabat on October 26-27. On September 9, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to organise the event at a high level at the government meeting, the Turkmenistan: Golden Age News Agency reported.
Berdimuhamedov made personnel changes in the State Committee for Water Management. The President dismissed Chairman of the Committee Guizgeldi Bayjanov and appointed Durdy Genjiev to this position. The President instructed the newly appointed official to improve material and technical resources, financial and economic situation and production and business activities of the Committee.
The Turkmen leader focused on maintaining stable GDP growth and developing the investment programme and the state budget for the next year. Berdimuhamedov instructed to assess the performance of the chemical, oil and gas, construction and textile industries, which would enable to evaluate their potential to increase production capacity and profitability.
