On September 3, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali signed a resolution on the allocation of funds on the eve of the 31st anniversary of state independence of Tajikistan, the Khovar National News Agency reports.
The Mayor of Dushanbe provided cash and financial assistance on the eve of State Independence Day. In total, 5,000 needy have received support.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Mayor of Dushanbe, cash and financial assistance was provided to 5,000 needy, including participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War and citizens equated to this category.
In accordance with the Resolution, the heads of city districts were to take measures to provide financial assistance to orphaned children, orphans and lonely people on the eve of State Independence Day.
Earlier, Rustam Emomali instructed the officials to start preparations for the celebration of the 31st anniversary of independence of Tajikistan at a high organisational, ideological and artistic level.
He instructed to direct all efforts to the beatification, construction and improvement of the ecological situation in every city and settlement.
