Tajikistan to export goods to Petropavlovsk

Head of the local administration Ruslan Anbaev and Ambassador of Tajikistan Khairullo Ibodzoda held a meeting in Petropavlovsk (Republic of Kazakhstan). They discussed priority aspects of cooperation on a wide range of areas, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.

The interlocutors highlighted the importance of building up cooperation in trade, economy and culture. They expressed mutual interest in promoting humanitarian partnerships. The emphasis was placed on the organisational issues of business forums.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the import of Tajik goods to Petropavlovsk.

Ibodzoda also met with Akmola Region Akim Ermek Marzhikpaev. The talks focused on attracting direct investment and the export opportunities of Tajikistan. The agenda also covered cooperation in the industrial and agricultural sectors.

Tajikistan has increased exports to Kazakhstan. In the first six months of the year, the Republic exported the goods worth $245 million to the neighbouring state.
