Kyrgyz authorities intend to export alcoholic drinks

On August 22, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov visited the production facilities of the Kara-Balta Distillery State Enterprise in Zhaiyl district, Chui Region, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed to modernize the distillery.

As was reported, Japarov instructed that advanced technologies be used to modernise the enterprise and upgrade its facilities. The project envisages laying asphalt on the territory of the enterprise, repairing and restoring the storage facilities, modernising the dispensing system and debugging the computer control system.

Japarov instructed to consider increasing wages for local employees and setting multiple wage rates for unique specialists.

The possibility of exporting alcoholic drinks was considered.

The Prime Minister dwelt on measures to curb the production and sale of counterfeit alcohol.
