Bishkek and Baku increase bilateral trade

On August 16, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev participated in the 4th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, which was held in Baku, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The participants discussed the aspects of cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, transport and logistics sectors and agriculture, as well as labour, food security, social and migration issues.

The Kyrgyz side highlighted the need to increase bilateral trade, which would contribute to expanding trade, economic and investment relations between the two countries.

Following the meeting, Ali Ahmedov and Bakyt Torobaev signed the protocol of the 4th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

As was reported, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Torobaev.
