Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan reviews Asman and Bishkek City projects

On August 16, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov reviewed the large-scale construction projects during an off-site meeting at Gosstroy, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The following projects were presented for review to the Chairman of the Government:

The Asman eco-friendly city in Issyk-Kul Region.

The Bishkek City international business centre with a 22,000-seat stadium in Orok village.

A residential complex with a school and kindergartens in the capital on the site of correctional colony 47.

A 7,000-seat sports and cultural complex in vicinity of Bishkek.

Following the meeting, the Chairman of the Government instructed that the relevant departments develop the construction projects of the above facilities so that they will comply with international standards and requirements and be attractive, comfortable, safe and eco-friendly.

On March 2, the Order on the demolition of colony 47 was issued. The prisoners will be distributed in the colonies with detention regimes established by the court.
